LearnHive is a volunteer-run, not for profit project. It’s operated by ATX Tech, but it isn’t a store and it isn’t run to make money. No one draws a salary from it, nothing here is sold for profit, and no one benefits financially from your being here.
Everything below says the same thing again, just in the slightly more formal wording a disclosure like this usually calls for — so the plain version and the formal version always agree.
The Disclosure
🐝 Who Owns the Hive
LearnHive — its name, site, courses, and this notice — is owned and operated by ATX Tech. It’s tended the way a beekeeper tends a hive: for its health and its community, not to bottle and sell the honey. It is not a separately incorporated company, a franchise, or a storefront.
🤝 Built by Volunteers
LearnHive is built, taught, and kept running by volunteers who give their time freely — no wages, equity, or commission. Where ATX Tech itself pitches in, it does so in that same volunteer spirit, not as an employer or paid contractor.
🚫 Not a Business
There’s no revenue target, no pricing plan, no shareholders, and no profit motive here, stated or otherwise. If something isn’t for sale, it’s because it was never meant to be — not because a checkout page hasn’t been built yet.
On Donations, If Any
If LearnHive ever accepts donations or grants, that support goes only toward covering real costs of running the project — hosting, tools, and the like. It never turns LearnHive into a for-profit business without a separate, clearly-worded update to this page.
